Ok, now I would like to revise our
assignment about tenses. We have done some mistakes about it. So, we want to
say thank you for our friends that have given feed back for us. We hope we will
not repeat it again.
SIMPLE PAST TENSE
- ü I bought many clothes to my family.
The correct sentence is I bought many clothes for my family.
PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE
ü The rain was pouring heavy
when I arrived at home this morning.
The correct sentence is The rain was pouring heavily when I arrived at home this morning.
PAST PERFECT AND PAST TENSE
ü Fauzy had sent me a email
before he called yesterday.
The correct sentence is Fauzy had sent me an email before he called me yesterday.
ü I known you after I had
met with your family.
The correct sentence is I knew you after I had met with your family.
Because past tense : S +
V2 so not “known” but “knew (v2 from know).
PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
ü Listen! The headmaster is announcing about the independence day.
The correct sentence is Listen! The headmaster is announcing about the Independence
Day.
