Hi everybody, I will tell you about someone in the picture above. He is William
Henry “Bill” Gates III or Bill Gates. He is an entrepreneur, an author, an
investor, and also a philantrophical from USA. He was born in Seattle,
Washington on October 28th, 1955. His parents are William H. Gates
and Mary Maxwell Gates. He is the second child in his family and he has two
siblings. His wife is Melinda French. And now, he has three children. They are
Jennifer Kathrine Gates, Rory John Gates, and Phoebe Adele Gates.
I have known him since I was in junior
high school. My teacher told me about him when we were learning about Microsoft
Word. Since then, I have known that the creator of Microsoft is Bill Gates. Microsoft
is the biggest software corporation in the world.
Everybody arround him knew that his skill in computering
had been confessed since he studied in Lakeside. In 1968, Bill Gates was
introduced
with computer for the first time. He spent his time to make some
programs and learn a lot about computer with his friends in Lakeside,
include his bestfriend, Paul Allen. In 1973, Bill Gates continued his
study
in Harvard University majoring in law as his father's wishes, but not
long after that he turned again
to computer engineering in accordance with his interests. In his early
career, Bill Gates dropped out from Harvard University. Since
then, he cooperated with Paul Allen in MITS (Micro Instrumentation and
Telemetry Systems) and they created “Micro-soft”. In 1976, the name was
changed to "Microsoft" and it was registered in the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico
as a trade name.
Bill Gates continued to develop Microsoft with
Allen although they faced many obstacles. They collaborated with several
companies after they didn’t cooperate anymore with MITS. Their presistence to
develop Microsoft has made it becomes the biggest software corporation in the
world. It has been used by many people in the world and it has produced a wide
range of products.The wealth generated by Microsoft made
him to be the richest man in the world from 1995 to 2007.
For your information, Bill Gates also has a social foundation. It is called Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which is being the biggest transparency foundation in the world.Well, I think that's all about Bill Gates. Thank you.
