Dr. Ir. Ciputra

Dr. Ir. Ciputra was born in Parigi, Sulawesi Tengah on 24th August 1931 with named Tjie Tjin Hoan, he was the third child from couples Tjie Sim Poe and Lie Eng Nio which is also a simple family background. When 12 years old he lost his father who died in army custody Japanese occupation because of false accusations that considered spies of Netherlands.

The bitterness when a child cause determination and important decision to have an idea to school in Java for to be better future, free from proverty and misery. When 16 years old graduated from elementary school and then continue junior high school in Gorontalo and senior high school in Manado, after that he entered the architecture department ITB in Bandung.

Ciputra business carier initiated since he was a student of architecture in ITB. With Ismail Sofyan and Budi Brasali his college friends, around 1957 Ciputra establish PT Daya Cipta. Architect firm belonging to three students, has been obtained a contract torelable job for that period, compared to other similar companies. The project that they handle include a bank in Banda Aceh. In 1960 Ciputra graduated from ITB.

Until now Ciputra has five business groups consist of Jaya Group, Metropolitan Group, Pondok Indah Group, Bumi Serpong Damai Group, and Ciputra Group. Since a few years ago, Ciputra claim the ffive (five) groups his effort especially for project property into a marketing alliance. The alliance was originally named the Pioneer, but now has changed into the Developer. The named of the Pioneer impressed arrogant and oriented to their own interest.

My Dream

My name is Iin Partinah. I have a lot of dreams. When I was a child, my dream was to be a doctor and as the time goes by, I have other dreams. Sometimes, I want to be a teacher, an entrepreneur, a politician and also other interesting dreams. However, I have grown up. Now, I know what I want to be.

After I finish my study in a university, I want to be an accountant as main job, and I also want to be a succesfull entrepreneur. I want, when my parents growing old, I hope they can enjoy their remainded life without thingking their children's life.

After I work for 3 or 4 years, I will have a lot of money. Then I will build a big house for my parents. After that I will take my parents to Makkah for hajji. And then I will marry with someone that I love. I will live in a big house and have 2 children. And I can live happyly (happily) ever after.
