Mr. Heppy Trenggono is a successful businessman, he is a Founder and CEO of United Balimuda Group. It is a multinational group of business that walk on plantation and consumer good. When he was studying in university he became a freelance. Heppy also has worked in some big companies up to got a top position as a director in A. Latief Corporation ( now is TvOne). Previously, Balimuda that walk on land clearing sector for oil-palm that was a sideline job when Heppy became a technique director of Lativi. But, when Heppy had taken a choice to made his business growing up, so he got out from Lativi. The kind of his business on land clearing used many heavy equipment, but he had had an experience in United Tractor, it is a company that walk on selling heavy equipment. This Land clearing was beginning when he became a subcontractor from Malaysian company, and then he took a Gudang Garam project that would have been made a land clearing on East Borneo. This business growing up fastly and need a big fund. Happy choose to take a loan and whirl this money from many creditors. Heppy soundly asleep with this loan and not able to control him self. His expansion was affluent with increased the using of heavy equipment, so he can’t to pay his debt.
And then, Heppy became a broker for company that would entered to oil palm business. Slowly Heppy can paid his debt and bought oil-palm land. His business activity was trading some lands. And then, he managed the
land through his branch company. After that, that lands sold on specific age.
His profit came from the difference of that sale price. Heppy also entered
other business. One of his consumer product is instant porridge that the
material is potato with name "Potayo" that managed by Heppyfoods Food and
Industri Pangan Indonesia Tbk. that built in 2006 with end user marketing
strategy and manufacturing health coffee with" Cordova" as the brand name.
Now, under United Balimuda Corp there are 12
company and he has employee more than 3000 people with kindship system. He want to build the
employee character with “inspiring and giving the world” as his principle that was
given to his employees.
Heppy also built Islamic Bussiness
Forum community with entrepreneur and entrepreneur candidate as the member, also
built Beli Indonesia on February 27th
2011 with 504 entrepreneurs from 42 towns in Indonesia. Morality value that he
was instruct is tradition to separate out 10 percent of his income for deed activity.
